Galileo glass thermometer. It got its name from the famous Italian physicist Galileo Galilei, who discovered it at the end of the 16th century. It is a thermometer made of a sealed glass cylinder containing a clear liquid and a series of objects. The position of the objects inside the cylinder changes depending on the temperature. The object in the lowest position shows the actual temperature. Height 18 cm.
